A venue committed to serving the whole community through our facilities and activities.
We hire spaces for commercial, private and community use and promote our own cultural programme.
Our well established REACH OUT PROJECT, run by our Outreach Worker Deborah Fitzpatrick,is now over one year old. Set up to tackle isolation and inequality across our community, we set about providing a number of one off and regular activities for people with lives compromised by isolation. See flyers for all current projects below. Contact Deborah to discuss the project on 020 8858 1749.
So far we have established a regular programme around a Drop In Café on Thursday afternoons for seniors, we have established a social enterprise group called the Knitting Nana’s who meet regularly to make and sell knitted goods such as poppies, egg covers and dolls to raise funds for activities and groups working to support socially isolated groups. We have also established a social and support session called Together Tuesdays for people in our community which runs every other Tuesday evening in our Cafe Bar. Mycenae Digital has also now launched providing group based and one-to-one IT training and support, with trainer Paul Clayton from Soulchip Communications. Our Men in Sheds group and Women in Sheds project in partnership with AGE UK have come to an end here and these sessions have now relocated to their permanent Woolwich shed. We have also produced a range of one off special events with partners like Alzheimers Society, Royal British Legion, Avenues Group, Age UK Bromley & Greenwich, Cinnamon Trust, SELWAT & RBG.
